About Ridge Produce

Ridge Produce, located in the south Bronx, New York City supplies fruit and vegetables to several hundred restaurants and is also the produce supplier for a growing number of restaurants in Northern New Jersey and New York City's surrounding communities. Owners Hal Burdo and Alfred Alfonso proudly describe their company as "just the right fit" for helping restaurants manage food costs and taking care of restaurant supply needs with the highest standard of service.

We're medium-sized. That means we're big enough to have a warehouse, a fleet of refrigerated trucks for produce delivery, and significant buying power, while still small enough that our customers get to know us on a first-name basis. In fact, our customers can call us directly if they're in a pinch. We have personally been in the restaurant business, so we know better than anyone, just how to take care of our customers.
